I am impressed that this radio helps you to be prepared for many types of emergency situations in which electric power is not available and may not be available for days or weeks. It will even recharge your cell phone!

what I love about the emergency radio is the 7 NOAA weatherband channel especially the fact that the emergency radio powered by solar or dynamo and since i live in Florida where there power gets cut off during hurricane season,I could really use this to keep my phone charged since it has a manual crank to recharge the radio battery. this provides essential source of power for small essential electronics.

My favorite feature is the USB cell phone charger. We were without electricity for 14 long, hot days after Hurricane Ike and the cell phone doesn't last very long!

I love that it is both hand cranked and solar powered. Just a FYI, with all hand cranked gadgets, make sure to crank them up every couple of months, or the battery may not be rechargable.

I love all of the fine features (and my husband would especially love the flashlight, weather radio, and headphone features. But the hand crank feature is tops with me and the fact that they donate a portion of sale to the Red Cross.

MY favorite feature is the crank capability. Great for our emergency stash without having to worry about dead batteries when needed. We live in a hurricane zone so we always keep an emergency stash in a rubbermaid container. Thanks!
