Ethan LOVES this show! He sits and watches it for HOURS on end! I have to force him to out something different on! Following it's premieres, Planet Sheen will air regularly on Saturdays at 11:00 a.m.
Planet Sheen follows Sheen Estevez as he deals with planet Zeenu’s bizarre customs and strange-looking creatures, including a jealous villain, Dorkus; a 10-foot tall, two-faced princess who has a crush on him; and Mr. Nesmith, a brainy talking chimp from the 60’s space program, who joins Sheen in his ultimate quest to return home. In every episode, Sheen lives the dream of being an out-of-this-world warrior making it his mission to teach the planet the superior ways of Earth and bring them into the 21st century – though possessing no such skills to do so.
The Planet Sheen cast includes Jeff Garcia (The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius, Back at the Barnyard) as Sheen, Bob Joles (SpongeBob SquarePants) as Mr. Nesmith, Rob Paulsen (The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius) as Doppy, Soleil Moon Frye (Punky Brewster) as Aseefa, Jeff Bennett (The Penguins of Madagascar) as Dorkus, Candi Milo (Fanboy and Chum Chum) as Princess Oom, Fred Tatasciore (Wolverine and the X-Men) as Emperor and Thomas Lennon (creator and star of Reno 911!) as Pinter. The series was created by Steve Oedekerk, creator of Nickelodeon’s hit TV and film franchises, Jimmy Neutron and Barnyard as well as Keith Alcorn (The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius) and executive produced by Oedekerk, Alcorn and Jim Hope (The George Lopez Show).The premiere episode of Planet Sheen introduces the inhabitants of the strange and distant planet Zeenu, who are gathered together when an out of control rocketship crashes on their planet and into a house. The rocket’s hatch opens and out comes Sheen Estevez – a hyperactive, manic, eccentric, overbearing, frantic kid. The planet’s Emperor is fascinated by Sheen and thinks he is supremely intelligent and brave. However, the evil Dorkus, whose house Sheen destroyed, wants to get rid of him immediately. Sheen’s rocket is too badly damaged to fly him back to Earth, but he meets a brainy, talking chimp named Mr. Nesmith who crashed on the planet years ago and may be able to help fix his rocket.
