Christmas In Canaan~Giveaway~

Just in time for the holidays, Christmas In Canaan really speaks about the true meaning of friendship and Christmas!

Capture the spirit of the holiday season with the inspirational family film that captured the hearts of millions on The Hallmark Channel; Christmas In Canaan, arriving on DVD October 5 from RHI Entertainment and Vivendi Entertainment. In the rural town of Canaan, Texas amongst the rising heat of the civil rights movement, widower Daniel Burton (Billy Ray Cyrus; Grammy Award  nominee, “Hannah Montana”) is doing his best to raise his three children without prejudice. Despite all efforts, his 10-year-old son, DJ (Zak Ludwig; Martian Child), has made an enemy of his classmate, Rodney (Jaishon Fisher; “Gifted Hands: The Ben Carson Story”), simply because Rodney is black. In an attempt to remedy the situation, Daniel, along with Rodney’s grandmother Miss Eunice (Candus Churchill, “The Andromeda Strain”), decide to force the boys to spend time together. It is then that the two kindred spirits learn about compassion and overcome racial tensions, forming a lifelong bond. Amid the spirit of Christmas, the boys experience the gift of friendship, the power of hope and the true meaning of family. Christmas In Canaan is based on the book co-written by Grammy Award winner Kenny Rogers.

I saw this movie and loved it. My daughter would love to see it. I feel that Christmas is about family and friends sharing happy times.

I think the true meaning of friendship is to trust and support each other. I'd probably better keep my opinion of the true meaning of Christmas to myself.

I think Christmas is about celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ with your family and friends and friendship is to do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
